The
Salvation Army
Amongst the many service activities that Pi Delta Psi participates
in is lending a helping hand at the Salvation Army soup kitchen.
We volunteer by serving, cooking, cleaning, and setting up meals
for the less fortunate of the Ithaca and Tompkin's County area.
Giving back to the community lies at the foundation of PDPsi's
principles and beliefs. |

The
Ithaca Breast Cancer Alliance
Breast Cancer kills an estimated 44,300 women each year. In
our ongoing commitment of service, Pi Delta Psi aids the Ithaca
Breast Cancer Alliance by raising funds through IBCA's annual
Breast Cancer Walk. In addition, we help out in setting up stands,
tables, and banners in further educating men and women about
breast cancer and its prevention. |

Kappa Delta Phi's Euphoria
During the fall of 1999, the Delta pledge class of alpha Kappa
Delta Phi organized a benefit auction to raise money for the
Taiwanese Earthquake Victims. The Brothers and Pledges of Pi
Delta Psi participated in the charity event by volunteering
as bachelors to be auctioned. The event proved to be very successful,
raising over $800 for the earthquake victims. |
